Love help: So, I’m kinda stumped. - Help.com

So, I’m kinda stumped.

I do alot with my life for my age of 17.

I’m a Blacksmith.
I’m a DJ
I’m a Carpenter

I’m just good at making anything, out of anything. I’ts a gift.

But for some reason, I’m not satisfied with it, I find myself always wanting more.
Why does all of this not interest me enough?

(I’ts an odd question to ask, but I would love some outside words.)

Maybe none of these are you real interests, you might need to find something you really enjoy. Also it is a lot and maybe it’s wearing you out a bit and your just getting fed up?…Just because your good at something doesn’t mean you have to do it for example a tutor wanted me to study A levels in English but i don’t really enjoy it even tho im good at it so i chose beauty therapy instead lol

Maybe when you get recognition for some kind of your work that will make the difference?

because it come too easy for you. You’re one of those people who like to be challenged, i think. Try something new. or try taking your talents to a new level. create something totally your own using carpentry and blaksmithing, and make it as intricate and difficult as you possibly can.

then, after you’re done and are bored again, try to beat it. make something better.

HT has it. You have the talent, but it needs stretching. Capability is one thing - creativity is what brings satisfaction to it.

My little brother was a carpenter and DJ at your age. He travelled all over Europe one Summer DJ’ing and used his carpentry to get cash jobs to finance it.

He did give it all up though and became a millionaire businessman.

Just have fun with your skills at your age - you have plenty of time - Mas

You have a busy mind and need busy hands. You do need a challenge and you may also consider something new altogether. I know from personal experience having a busy mind that my interests have often changed throughout my life.

It’s as though you conquer one challenge then take up the next or just completely lose interest. I don’t see anything wrong in that so long as you are ok with it. This makes for a life and character rich in experiences and you are young! Lotsa time for figuring out your “niche(s)”.

Enjoy and take pride in the fact that you need that challenge and strive for more if that’s what you want. Just remember to keep the balance and not over run yourself!
